The first race young Hershel McGriff competed in was just the second NASCAR race ever held – the 1950 Southern 500. Fast forward to 2018. At age 90, this 2023 NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee drove the No. 04 South Point Casino Toyota for Bill McAnally Racing in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West in Tucson. It was McGriff’s last NASCAR race – at least so far.
