Sammy Smith Darlington Throwback to 2003 Tony Stewart 1:64 Standard 2025 Diecast Car Preorder - Currently Projected October

In 2003, iconic rock band 3 Doors Down partnered with Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s NASCAR Xfinity Series team to promote its single, “The Road I’m On” through the No. 8 Chevrolet driven by legendary driver Tony Stewart at Michigan. The music video for the tune featured both Stewart and Dale Earnhardt Jr.

More than 20 years later, that memorable livery will hit the track once again on Sammy Smith’s No. 8 car during The Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR at Darlington Raceway. Smith’s car will feature many of the same elements of Stewart’s ride from Michigan. The throwback will also spotlight some of TMC Transportation’s key employee-owners in place of band members that originally rode along the side of the 2003 edition of the car.
