In February of 2014, Dale Earnhardt Jr. earned the DAYTONA 500 victory. It was not only a monumental win in his legendary career, but another milestone triumph in the decorated history of Hendrick Motorsports.

This May, in celebration of the 40th anniversary season for the iconic Hendrick Motorsports organization and the 10th anniversary of Dale Jr.’s second DAYTONA 500 victory, Chase Elliott will be turning back the clock with a special throwback look at Darlington Raceway. Elliott will battle for the win at Darlington with a No. 9 UniFirst Chevrolet Camaro that will sport a paint scheme inspired by the one Dale Jr. drove to DAYTONA Victory Lane 10 years earlier, complete with the same red, white, and blue color scheme with gold accents that were on Dale Jr.’s winning No. 88 National Guard Chevrolet.

This 2-car set will include Elliott’s throwback car and the green flag edition of Dale Jr.’s 2014 National Guard car from DAYTONA. Just how the car started the winning race day is how this die-cast will be produced.
