Mark Martin, driver of the Dale Earnhardt Inc #8 Army Chevrolet, started racing at the age of 15. Mark holds the Busch Series Win Record with 47 victories and has 5 IROC (International Race of Champions) Championships. In 1989, Mark won his first Cup Series race at North Carolina Speedway. As of the start of the 2008 season, Mark Martin has recorded 42 poles, 35 wins, and 12 top 5 finishes in the Cup point standings.
