Kevin Harvick, driver of the Richard Childress #29 Shell Pennzoil Chevrolet, started racing at the age of 5. In 2000, Kevin raced full-time in the Busch Series winning 3 races, finishing 3rd in final point standing, and receiving Rookie of the Year honors. Kevin collected the Busch Series Championship in 2001 and again in 2006. In 2001, Kevin began his Cup career, finishing the season with 2 wins, and 9th place in the final point standings, as well as Rookie of the Year honors. As of the start of the 2008 season, Kevin Harvick has recorded 5 poles, 11 wins, and 4 top 10 finishes in the final Cup point standings.
