Dale Jarrett, driver of the Michael Waltrip #44 UPS Toyota, was an accomplished high school athlete and didn't begin racing until he was 20. In 1984, Dale made his first Cup Series start at Martinsville, but didn't get his first win until 1991. As of the start of the 2008 season, Dale Jarrett has recorded 15 poles, 32 wins, 163 top 5 finishes, placed 41st in the final 2007 Cup point standings and has won 1 Cup Series Championship.
